Taynuilt Inn reopens with new owners | Love Oban

After being closed for two years, the historic Taynuilt Hotel has reopened under the new ownership of Diversity Leisure with a refreshed look and new name - The Taynuilt Inn Village Pub, Kitchen and Rooms.

Located 20 minutes from Oban in the picturesque village of Taynuilt (Gaelic for house by the burn), the Inn’s new décor evokes the Cotswolds and features individually styled rooms, plus two bars with an impressive whisky, gin and local beer selection. Cosy, comfy and stylish, it’s the perfect base for exploring the West Highlands, or a fantastic stop over for a meal, snack or coffee break on your travels, with convenient access via car, train or bus,

"We are excited to have reopened The Taynuilt Hotel as The Taynuilt Inn,” said Diversity Leisure Area Operations Manager Mark Lambson. “It has been lovingly refurbished to reflect its era of build, with many nods towards a traditional 16th century coaching inn. We have tried to marry the need for a village pub, cozy rooms and great food into one historic old inn, to give both locals and tourists an experience to remember.”

Residents and non-residents are welcome for lunch, dinner, nibbles or drinks, and there is regular live music monthly by Argyll’s top traditional players. Visit https://taynuiltinn.com/
