In the Corryvreckan turbulent tides create one of the worlds largest whirlpool and an exceptionally rich area for wildlife.
Our trips also include a Scottish Wildlife Trust reserve, a National Scenic Area and the Firth of Lorne Special Area of Conservation, which embraces uninhabited islands and dramatic sea-cliffs. Golden eagles are resident and the rugged coastline is home to otters, deer and wild goats.
Choosing a Trip
3 and 4 hour Corryvreckan Wildlife Cruise
Our most popular trips, perfect for all ages, taking in spectacular scenery and a stunning variety of wildlife. The longer trips range further and allow for more encounters.
3 and 4 hour Whirlpool Special
These trips are run on big spring tides when the whirlpool is at its most active.
4 and 5 hour Whale Watching Cruise
Our powerful and stable boat is ideal for longer offshore trips. With 26 years as an owner/skipper in the area, and as a marine biologist, David knows the best places to look for whales.

Spacious and Stable
With almost 900 horsepower, Sealife Adventures' large seaworthy boat offers exceptional speed and stability with uncrowded comfort for up to 12 guests. This unique combination allows a greater range maximixing sightings.
Enjoy the wind on your face outside or the warmth of our heated wheelhouse.
There is also an onboard toilet.
Your safety is our top priority
Our twin engine 12 meter boat holds the MCA 60 mile license with no weather restriction - the highest safety certificate held by any wildlife boat in the area.
Pontoon and Car Park
For your convenience our private pontoon and car par are designed for ease of access. Wheelchairs are no problem, please let us know in advance.
Your Skipper and Wildlife Guide
Marine biologist David Ainsley set up Sealife Adventures in 1988 and is the most experienced charter skipper in the Firth of Lorne Special Area of Conservation. He is a RYA Yachtsman Offshore and an underwater TV cameraman.
Your knowledgeable, enthusiastic wildlife guide will provide talks, refreshments and binoculars.
