Our beautiful area welcomes many visitors from all over the world, but whether it’s a once in a lifetime trip or you’re thinking of taking a wee break to escape the madness, there’s no doubt now that holidays cannot be considered essential travel.

Oban’s fantastic pubs, cafes and restaurants have now been instructed to close. If you have a trip planned in the next month or so then please consider postponing rather than cancelling as we want your visit to be one that you will remember for the rest of your life - for the right reasons.

So stay safe, Oban and Lorn will still be here to welcome you when you’re able to visit us again.

In the meantime we’ll be sharing some of our favourite scenic spots in Oban and Lorn on our social media platform - that should keep us busy for a few weeks. Do feel free to share your holiday images too as we will keep our Instagram feeds updated.

UPDATE: ACCOMMODATION ACROSS THE U.K. IS NOW CLOSED TO ALL BUT KEY WORKERS. STAY SAFE, STAY HOME. OUR BEAUTIFUL AREA WILL STILL BE HERE WHEN ITS SAFE TO TRAVEL.

Be bold. Be authentic. Be unique. Be passionate. Be inspired. Be #ObanMinded
