The train is the easiest and most scenic way to reach Oban. Trains run seven days a week, depending on the season, directly from Glasgow Queen Street Station. Oban ScotRail station is at Oban PA34 4LL.
Caledonian MacBrayne offer ferry service for vehicles and foot/bicycle traffic from Oban to the islands of Mull, Lismore, Colonsay, Barra, Tiree. Smaller foot passenger services run to Iona, Kerrera, Easdale and Luing. We recommend booking in advance with a vehicle to avoid disappointment any time of year. Foot passenger bookings are not necessary.
Taxis are available the the rank in front of the railway station and Station Square.
