There is lots on offer for families at Atlantis Leisure Centre, based in Oban. When you visit Oban, you must pop in (perfect for rainy days!) as they offer a wide selection of activities for everyone in the family and there are plenty of things to do. This is a large leisure Centre run by the community, for the community.

Atlantis is a key community resource in the town of Oban and is strongly supported by the local community. With trained, friendly, helpful staff a visit here is necessary – it makes the perfect wet weather facility if a boat trip is postponed, or it is a bit wet outside!

- Large grass football pitch out front – free to use, also popular for dogs to join their families here to stretch their legs!
- Swimming pool includes a splash pool, main pool (4 lane 25m), flume and in the summer holidays pool inflatable sessions.
- Tennis courts are available outside to hire.
- Squash courts are available.
- Badminton available.
- Basketball available.
- Table Tennis available.
- Large play areas outside the Centre – free to use.
- Soft play available: 0-12 years area and an under 3 years area.
- Climbing cube for climbing and bouldering – bookable with a free induction chat. Suitable for 5 years+.
- Over 8s: State of the art air-conditioned gym (12 years+ with a guardian accompanying, or 16+ unaccompanied).
Where to Eat & Drink
- Onsite café at Atlantis Leisure Centre. It offers hot and cold drinks, light bites, lunches, and kids’ options. Plenty of choice, including a number if dietary requirements clearly signposted on the menu and provided for, including Gluten Free, Vegetarian and Vegan.
- Takeaway options available from the on-site café.
- Local produce used and some classic options such as jacket potato, salads, sandwiches, paninis, and cake are offered.
- Daily specials.
- Comfortable seating area for cafe in the middle of the Leisure Centre near soft play and climbing cube.

- Style: community minded, open to all, active and fun place to be.
- How to get there: A short 10-minute walk from Oban town Centre – clearly signposted. Or a few minutes’ drive from the town Centre – parking available.
- Facilities: Plenty of up-to-date facilities onsite including plenty of toilets, lockers, shop onsite, baby changing facilities, baby bottle warming available in café, free wi-fi, changing areas.
- Parking: Limited parking in front of Centre but also a large car park (public, chargeable) next to it. Disabled parking spaces in both car park areas.
- Access: Pool: accessible steps, disabled changing area, pool hoist.
Pack your swimming gear or sports kit – most equipment such as Squash racquets, Pickle ball equipment and more can be hired at reception. - Café: offers light bites, cakes, lunches, kid’s options, ice creams, snacks, hot and cold drink and can cater for a number of dietary needs.
- Other activities and facilities Atlantis offers use of back pitch, birthday parties, swimming parties, room hire, dance lessons, sauna (16+), Music and Dance festivals during the year, meeting room hire.
