The Coal Shed opened in October 2025 in the heart of the beautiful Ardtornish Estate on Morvern. Open daily for breakfast, lunch and home baking, it’s a relaxed and welcoming place to eat, whether you’re local or passing through.

With sustainability at its core, our menu and daily specials celebrate the very best of the estate, including wild Ardtornish venison and organic beef and lamb from Ardtornish Organic Farm, alongside thoughtfully prepared vegetarian and vegan dishes.

The Coal Shed is situated on route to the Lochaline to Mull CalMac ferry and is a pleasant 2.5km walk from Lochaline Pontoons for visitors travelling by boat.
