The 1635 Restaurant, located within the historic Knipoch House Hotel near Oban, is open for dinner from Thursday to Saturday evenings, with guests invited to arrive at 6:45 pm for a 7:00 pm start. The restaurant takes its name from the plaque set into the original stone walls of the house, reflecting its deep historical roots dating back to the 17th century. While the setting is elegant and steeped in history, the dress code remains casual. For private dining, the restaurant accommodates groups of 6 to 12 guests on any day of the week, with a minimum of three days' notice required.
