Live Music ABRIL

ABRIL is renewed tradition: sounds from the past in harmony with the present. A place where identities meet and create community through an intimate foliada (traditional Galician folk session). Claudia Abril (vocals and traditional percussion) and Marina Carpente (fiddle and vocals), both with over ten years of experience in traditional Galician music, came together in this project to draw inspiration from their roots and offer a modern, delicate, and intimate proposal to share with the community. The group was formed in 2022 to perform traditional music, and since then they have been actively performing live. They have played across Galicia and the Iberian Peninsula, bringing their music to diverse audiences while remaining deeply connected to their roots. Their debut album was released in April.
