Join world-renowned storyteller and author Janis Mackay as she presents folklore and stories, including from her latest novel; On a Northern Shore, published by Luath Press. Janis will share stories from the folklore that inspired her and talk about the vivid sense of place that shines thher writing on Scotland. A master storyteller, with tales from around the globe. Join us at The Rockfield Centre to experience our flagship storytelling night Story Stiridh where we bring the best of storytellers to the heart of the West Highlands.Janis will also be presenting a writers workshop with limited places.Janis won the Scottish Childrens Book awards with her novel, The Accidental Time Traveller in 2013, and won the Kelpies Prize in 2009 for her first novel, Magnus Fin and the Ocean Quest.On a Northern Shore is her first published novel for adults.
