Anemara

Anemara are an international folk quartet formed in Glasgow in 2018, where Scandinavian, Celtic and North American traditions meet. Featuring two fiddles, cello, harp, vocals and step dance, their music is rhythmically charged, melodically captivating and alive with energy. As their notes swirl across the Atlantic, traditions collide in a soundscape that is both thoughtful and joyously dance-driven. Members include award-winning musicians from Sweden, Canada and the UK, with accolades like “Traditional Album of the Year” (Canadian Folk Music Awards 2024) and the Danny Kyle Award at Celtic Connections 2025.
