Vulva Voce

Vulva Voce is a genre-defying string quartet known for performing music by women and underrepresented artists, blending classical, folk, jazz, and techno influences. They have been recognized by The Recording Academy, BBC Radio 3, and Clash Magazine.Their debut EP, Maddalena, is inspired by the 16th-century composer Maddalena Casulana. They have also collaborated with Grammy winners and Glastonbury headliners. They wreaked havoc with the traditions of the string quartet, performing a mixture of works by sixteenth century lutist Maddalena Casulana, and savage originals that infused chamber music with a wild riot grrrl flair.
