Learn a Sea Shanty With Muldoon's Picnic

This workshop will get you singing some well-loved songs of the sea with (optional) simple harmonies, taught by ear with the emphasis on fun. All are welcome: no need for any experience or musical background, these songs truly are for all and everyone. Sea shanties are timeless. In fact they are having a revival thanks to their recent use in computer games Sea of Thieves and Assassin’s Creed, and of course the 2020 TikTok sensation ‘The Wellerman’ by Nathan Evans. Even those who have never set foot on a sailing ship respond to the hearty rhythms and quirky lyrics of the songs. Even if you’ve never thought of yourself as a singer you’ll be welcome at this workshop.
