Oban International Shanty Festival

A night of great music from the cream of shanty singing: Muldoon’s Picnic, LocTup Together, Steve Turner, Shona Cowie, The Jolly Grogsters, Brise-Glace as part of a weekend of rip-roaring songs, music and tales of the sea from some of the world’s best shanty musicians from Canada, Brittany, The Netherlands, Scotland and England, performing in lovely Oban, gateway to the Isles, in the West Highlands of Scotland. We will also have an amazing programme of workshops from story-telling, to Gaelic luadh, to playing the bones.
