Barcaldine Castle is set on the peaceful shores of Loch Creran on the West Coast of Scotland, 9 miles north of Oban.

During the summer season, it operates as a bed and breakfast with six resplendent, individually designed rooms.  Exclusive use is also available during the summer.  Breakfast is provided, along with daily housekeeping services, and our team is available to assist you during your stay.  Access to the kitchen is limited during this period.

Between November and March, the castle is open for exclusive hire on a self-catering basis only. Perfect for special occasions and family gatherings, accommodating up to 12 adults and 3 children.  After welcoming you, we leave you to enjoy undisturbed use of the castle for the duration of your booking.

We also host weddings for up to 36 guests and between April and October, when we are fully staffed for the season.
