St Conan’s Kirk is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Argyll and is a Category A listed building. It is a special building which, in 2006, was recognised by RIAS as one of Scotland's top ten buildings of architectural excellence. The story of it’s builder, Walter Campbell and his family, is a testament to human endeavour.
As well as drawing many of thousands of visitors each year it is attached to the Glenorchy Parish. The kirk is privately owned and is maintained by the Trustees, supported by The friends of St Conan’s Kirk who organise a progiramme of events each year including Music, Theatre, Exhibitions and more.
Find out more about the church itself by visiting us and enjoy its unique architecture and learn about the Saint that inspired it.
