The Pierhouse Hotel and Seafood Restaurant is nestled on the shores of Loch Linnhe in Port Appin. With a relaxed, informal atmosphere, the restaurant and bar enjoys breathtaking sea views and stunning west coast sunsets. Head Chef Laura Milne’s dishes are rooted in traditional Scottish cooking with a modern twist to let the food's quality speak for itself. Working closely with local suppliers, the award-winning restaurant's seafood is simply cooked to perfection. Oysters are hand-picked from nearby Loch Creran; mussels and langoustines are harvested from Loch Linnhe and Loch Etive with crab, lobster and white fish also caught in local waters. The menu also features succulent local meat and wild game as well as vegetarian dishes.
Visiting Port Appin for the day? There's plenty to do - local walks around Clach Thoull, Jubilee Bridge, bird watching, the Port Appin cycle route loop, a short ferry ride to the isle of Lismore for a day's walking or cycling, a visit to local gardens and the craft shop. Plus there are wildlife boat tours departing from the pier in front of the hotel from Easter throughout the summer. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner, and offers an extremely popular A La Carte Menu. In addition, there are daily Bar Lunch and Bar Dinner Menus, as well as a Children's Menu. Coffee, tea and home baking are available all day from 8.00am.
