On a croft by the shores of Loch Linnhe, Linnhe Croft Holiday Cottages enjoy a virtually midge free environment, with stunning views to the isles of Lismore and Shuna, the Morven hills and mountains of Mull. Graded 3* by Visit Scotland in 2016.
Each cottage sleeps 4 to 5 plus baby, and is completely self-contained, with private access, private garden and parking area. The spacious open plan lounge/diner and fully equipped kitchen leads directly onto a large private deck with patio furniture to enjoy the panoramic views and sunsets. Bathroom contains separate bath and shower. There are two spacious bedrooms, one double (with king-size bed) and one twin with all elementary requirements throughout each cottage.
Port Appin has many facilities including an excellent seafood restaurant and bar. The local shop and post office cater for most requirements, whilst the towns of Oban and Fort William are a pleasant drive away.
There is a ferry service from Port Appin to The Isle of Lismore which is ideal for walking, cycling, bird watching and fishing. Wildlife includes many species of deer, fox and seal. A sighting of an otter or pine marten is rare but exhilarating. The area hosts a large variety of birds from small blue tits to mighty eagles. Golden and sea eagles prey in the nearby glens while buzzards and other birds of prey are frequently spotted perched on poles and telegraph wires around the village.
Port Appin makes an ideal base for exploring the West of Scotland, or to relax and unwind in a beautiful, unspoiled environment.
