Corran House, in the west end of Oban is part of a Victorian terrace with magnificent sea-scape views across the bay to the Isle of Kerrera and the hills of Mull. Oban, which is a small fishing town and busy ferry port, is well situated for exploring Argyll and the Inner hebridies. There is a warm welcome for visitors together with reasonably priced accommodation suitable for single couples, families and groups.
Corran House provides premier guesthouse accommodation and outstanding hostel facilities in 6 dorm rooms, sleeping a total of 26 people and also 16 guest rooms. There is a spacious and well equipped self-catering kitchen with seating for 20-25 people and a comfortable TV lounge.
Prices range for £17pppn for bunk rooms and £48 per room for guest rooms in peak season. Reduced rates will be available out of season, for single occupancy and for group bookings.
There is ample parking on either side of the building. This is free after 6pm however there is a charge of 80 pence per hour during the day.
By prior arrangement, large groups can be provided with a light or full breakfast in the downstairs bar.
On the patio is Markie Dan's ale house with its famous range of malt whisky and bar meals. With live music on most weekends and the best beer garden in town it is perfect for all types of weather.
Enjoy the beautiful view from the door step while you sample Markie Dan's food and drink. Open 11am till 1am all year round. Food served 12pm-9pm.
Please note that Corran House is totally non-smoking and there is no stair lift in operation.
