The Airds Hotel Restaurant

The Restaurant at The Airds very much welcomes non residents but due to its popularity it is advisable to book if going for dinner.

Why not pop in for either a morning coffee served with homemade shortbread and fruitcake, or alterntaively the hotel has very quickly built up the reputation as being the place to go for Full Afternoon Tea, with or without a glass of champagne!  Serving freshly made warm scones with jam and clotted cream, a variety of sandwiches and cream cakes - what could be better then meeting friends and fmaily for an afternoon.

Lunch at The Airds can be as formal or informal as you like, with either a formal sit down affair in the restuarnat or alterntively a casual lunch can be had in the conservatory where a range of dishes areserved, from a seafood platter to a homemade burger and chips.  When the weather allows the hotel has plenty of tables and chairs in the garden with some of the best views in Port Appin.  Alternatively in the winter there is nothing nicer then sitting by one of the roaring fires in the lounges, with a nice bowl of warm soup and and perhaps an Inverawe smoked salmon sandwich

Dinner at The Airds never disappoints - a five course choice menu awaits with canpaes served with pre diner drinks and coffee and petit fours included in the price after - a real treat.  Currently 5 out of 5 on tripadvisor it is the place to eat, serving only the freshest seafood, local game and all local produce where possible.  The Romantic candlelit restaurant has seen many a proposal of marriage, wedding anniversary celebration or just a couple wishing to have a romantic evening out together. Alternatively 2 friends simply wanting to catch up.

The Airds also caters for lunch parties and get together's of all sizes and due to it's intimate size it is the perfect venue for lunch, afternoon tea or dinner.
