We offer an excellent range of self catering accommodation set in a tranquil glen in the hills just minutes from Oban. Unusually, our farm park also has its very own award winning rustic bar and restaurant - The Barn Bar - so you don't even need to self cater if you don't want to.
Cologin is the perfect location for a relaxing break with glorious views and easy access to Oban town centre, the isle of Mull and Iona and other 'must see' West Coast destinations. The farm has wonderful waymarked Forestry Commission walks through the forest above the farmstead and free fishing by boat or bank on our trout loch in the hills - free to residents.
Our old farmstead sits besides an ancient drovers trail between the Highlands and the Lowlands and 'The Barn' has been converted from one of our old cattle byres - you can still see the old slate cattle stalls. The Barn has free wi-fi broadband access - as do all properties at Cologin.
We have two accommodation styles: the Outer Hebridean chalet with one twin or double bedroom and the Inner Hebridean lodge with two bedrooms (one twin, one double). We also offer disabled access and pet free accommodation and some of our lodges have sofa beds in the living area to sleep extra guests. Children and pets are welcome (we've a lovely wooden playpark and plenty of fields and hills to explore).
In addition to our chalets and lodges we offer private houses for holiday rentals including a large traditional farmhouse (sleeps 12) and a one bedroom cottage. See our website for full details.
