Aros Ard
"Aros Ard", Gaelic for "high house", is an apt description for this new house built on the outskirts of Oban, fifteen minutes walk from the sea front and town.
We have two large suites with superb views over Oban bay. One is furnished with a king size bed and the other with twin beds. Each suite has easy chairs, dining table and chairs, digital freeview TV, video/DVD player, small fridge, clock radio, hair dryer, iron, ironing board and hospitality tray. There is also complimentary sherry and fruit. The french doors give the effect of a balcony within the room from which the views may be enjoyed. Crockery and cutlery is provided should you wish to bring in your evening meal.
The en-suite facilities have bath with shower, toilet, bidet, washbasin, heated towel rail and fog free mirror. This eco-friendly house boasts a high level of insulation, high-tech double glazing, water heating supplemented by solar tubes and a heat-recovery ventilation system providing continuous filtered fresh air. This is of particular benefit to sufferers of asthma or allergies.
The suites occupy the entire first floor of the house with the result that a party of four persons will have sole occupancy of the establishment.
A full Scottish breakfast is served in the dining room or guests may enjoy a continental breakfast in their room.
