Atlantic Bay Cottage

Atlantic Bay Cottage is a great place for a holiday. It sits right on the seashore with access to the beach and sea from the garden. Just 12 miles south of Oban, Seil island is connected to the mainland by the world famous "Bridge over the Atlantic".The island enjoys the peace and tranquility of island life but is very easy to get to.

Argyll is a stunning part of Scotland with sea, mountains, lochs, Celtic history and amazing wildlife. All of these are easily accessible from the cottage and you can visit other islands by ferry from Oban. Whether you want to come for relaxation and rejuvenation or an activity filled holiday, Atlantic Bay is the perfect base to start each day from.

The cottage will comfortably sleep six in three bedrooms and we also have a double futon so that eight could sleep here if required.

The lounge/dining area and two of the bedrooms enjoy extensive views over the islands and beyond, there is also a patio for barbeque and eating outdoors and a large garden to relax and play in. The cottage enjoys full oil fired central heating.

Seil and the seas around are exceptional for wildlife watching. As well as renting out Atlantic Bay Cottage we also run Sealife Adventures which runs boat trips to see the local wildlife and the infamous Corryvreckan whirlpool.

We are lucky to have resident golden and sea eagles, otters, seals, porpoises and many seabirds. Groups of bottlenose dolphins regularly pass in front of the house and are seen from our boat and minke whales are summer visitors. All guests in Atlantic Bay Cottage enjoy a 10% discount on our boat trips.
