The town of Oban and the surrounding area is bristling with things to do and see. Such a historic location means that there are of course many castles and standing stones to visit. McCaig's Tower overlooks the town and is well worth the short (if uphill!) walk from the town centre to see the view.

Oban has a cinema, theatre, amusement arcade, war and peace museum, Rare Breeds Park, mini zoo and sea life centre as some of the local attractions in or near the town to keep you busy, or for those who just can't sit still why not visit our Sport and Leisure page.
